Lead by Heidi Gustad
Forget about those latch hooking kits you had as a kid! Learn the mechanics of latch hook, a craft that originated as a rug making technique that has evolved into a beginner-friendly textile art. Rather than use this skill to make a bath mat featuring a clown face, learn how to intuitively and meditatively design your projects to create a stunning & contemporary wall hanging. Project planning, yarn processing, and basic finishing will be covered in this introductory workshop.
This workshop comes with a kit including everything you need to get your own modern latch hooking off the ground: rug canvas, a latch hooking tool, yarn, and graph paper.
