Learn to make the very cool Soleil cast-on (a Andree Beddoe original!)
Use modified version of Lynne Barr’s CAPs (Continuously Applied Pieces) method to knit the lace edge (Dragon Flames!!) continuously without breaking the yarn.
Start with a circle and transform the shape to a crescent.
Fingering weight yarn, using 3 colors with high contrast
A: 320 yds (290m)
B: 320 yds (290m)
C: 150 yds (137m)
4mm (US 6) circular needle 40” (100cm) to 60” (152”)long.
