Stay warm this winter and learn how to make the Ogawa sweater by Junko Okamoto in our Cozy Crochet Sweater workshop! This sweater is a unique design, crocheting the pieces sideways, and then sewing them together. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced crocheter, this workshop will give you the skills and support to create your own winter sweater. 

Our experienced instructor, Sarah, will guide you through every step including sizing, gauge swatching, reading the pattern and charts, and all techniques needed to create this cozy sweater! Scroll down to see pattern details including sizes. 

All students will receive 10% off yarn and needles needed for the workshop.

Prerequisites
Must know basic crochet stitches including the single crochet stitch, the double crochet stitch, and the chain stitch.

Materials Required

  • Amount of yarn according to the size you would like to make

  • Hook required to obtain gauge (there will be opportunity to try different hook sizes before making a purchase)

  • Stitch markers

  • Printed Ogawa pattern by Junko Okamoto

  • 4 hours of instruction by Sarah

How to Sign Up for Classes

Classes are held on Saturdays, on a 6 week schedule. This package includes 3 classes, with additional sessions $25 each. Students will need to sign up for 3 sessions in advance, as each class has a 5 person maximum. Your first class is 2 hours long, your second and third class are 1 hour each. 

Once students sign up for the workshop and check out, a link will be emailed to you so you can sign up for your classes. You will be able to reschedule classes as needed.
