Ever wondered how yarn is made? Ever wanted to make your own yarn? Well, now you can! In this class you will learn how to use the traditional drop-spindle method of spinning wool into yarn. This class will cover how to spin yarn, ply it, set it, and get it ready to knit or crochet with!
This is an introductory class and is open to all skill levels. All materials included.
This workshop has a 4 person minimum.

Meet Your Facilitator
Oberon Waters is the lead fiber art instructor at the Friedman Place, a supportive living community for blind and visually impaired adults. Oberon incorporates the disability centric teaching style he's learned from work into his everyday workshops and loves to teach spinning and card-weaving. His personal practice is informed by art therapy and disability.

To receive a full refund, please cancel 5 days before the workshop start time. We cannot offer any refunds after that time.
Make Up Class Policy
Any missed classes in a consecutive weekly workshop will need to be made up within one week of the missed class.
No Show Policy
We will not offer any refunds for missed workshops.
