Halloween Colorwork Sweater Workshop

Halloween Colorwork Sweater Workshop
Wednesdays, Oct 1, 8, 15, 22, & 29
6pm - 7:30pm
Led by Sarah Jamison
Learn how to knit stranded colorwork while making a halloween sweater! In this workshop, we’re making the Nocturnal Jumper by Saskie & Co Designs, a straightforward and festive sweater, using the stranded colorwork method.
Stranded colorwork knitting, also known as Fair Isle knitting, combines two or more colors in a single row to create intricate patterns and designs. Although it may seem intimidating, our experienced instructor, Sarah, will guide you through every step of creating your Nocturnal Jumper. Class instruction includes how to read a colorwork chart, how to knit stranded colorwork, handling floats and instruction on overall construction of your sweater.
In this workshop, each week progresses to the next step outlined by the instructor. This class includes “homework” that will need to be done outside of class for the next session. Any missed classes will need to be made up during the week, before the next class.
This workshop has a 3 person minimum.
